Reception and Control

Reception and the control conducts reception and primary registration of all kinds of the printed editions which have been let out in territory republic, and also under the order of publishing houses abroad. The control over duly receipt and completeness of delivery of a printed matter and over observance STATE STANDART on registration of target data of editions is simultaneously conducted. Also the department conducts the control over correct use by publishing houses and publishing organizations of international number ISBN. Release of " the Annals of periodicals ".

Department of Statistics

Statistical account of publishing production RK. Annually publishes the collection " the Press of Republic of Kazakhstan ", containing the basic quantity indicators on publishing RK. Gives out data on release of books and brochures on thematic sections. Release of " the Annals of periodicals " the Department of Statistics statistical account of publishing production RK is annually carried out conducts. Annually publishes the collection " the Press(Seal) of Republic of Kazakhstan ", containing the basic quantity indicators on publishing RK. Gives out data on release of books and brochures on thematic sections.

Department of the State bibliography

It is generated in 1968. The department carries out selection, processing of the description of book, journal and newspaper production acting in NSBCH RK. On their basis the department lets out current bibliographic indexes which are in great demand at libraries, scientific employees, students.

Dictionary-search department

Carries out gathering materials of a press of the country. Conducts alphabetic and regular catalogues which annually replenish with new card files. A department gives out written information on the bibliography of authors, on the first publication.

Department Kazakhstanika

Functions since 1973. The basic directions of work are search of the necessary information in Republics Kazakhstans behind its limits and data recording of materials.

Archives of the Press of Republic Kazakhstan

National state Book chamber RK it was formed in 1968. Annually the Archive receives up to 75 thousand copies of all kinds of products of the press which have been let out in republic, and also the editions which have left under orders of publishing houses of Kazakhstan abroad.

Publishing department

Prepares for release for " the Annals of periodicals ", " the Annals newspaper clauses ", " the Annals of journal clauses ", "Kazahstanika", " the Annals of a press ", " the Annals of reviews ". Editions of National state book chamber of Republic of Kazakhstan are used at drawing up of the retrospective bibliography and looked through for check of completeness of scope of materials, and also serve as the standard at specification of bibliographic descriptions according to state standards in all libraries of republic. Under editions of Book chamber of library of our country will be informed on release of a printed matter in republic.

Department of Information technologies

The department is engaged in development and introduction of programm-technical means for automation of bibliographic processes.
